About the event
The setting
Located 15 minutes from the coast, between the Mediterranean and the Pre-Alpes mountains, our vineyard lies at the base of the Baou de Saint-Jeannet overlooking the sea.
You are invited to discover this amazing land. It was chosen by the Romans thousands of years ago to start a fine wine making tradition that has developed through generations and continues today in the hands of the Rasse family and their 2 vineyards, that continue to flourish under this Provence sky. Because of its particular soil , this is an IGP area (Geographically Protected Indication) which ensures our consumers a quality wine and good taste.
Your day
Morning painting in the vineyard
Take a lovely creative pause with art instructor Mona who will show you the basics of acrylic and oil technique. You will be painting this wine estate and their surroundings inspired by the spring blossom with guidance of Mona. After morning session and well deserved picnic, you will be immersed into wine tasting.
Lunch After the morning’s creations, you will certainly not resist a freshly prepared picnic made using local Provencal products such as cheese, delicatessen, quiche, tapenade and of course Rasse wine.
Afternoon
After a short siesta, Luz will take you into their story about their wine making and tasting. Their wines are carefully made seeking a delicate balance of tradition and modernity. They are the result of a subtle alliance between nature and man.
