About the event

As spring is upon us and nature is awakening, the goat farm is alive with their baby goats arrival in February!

The setting

Join us for this unique experience to meet Bruno on his farm of 80 Alpine goats grazing on the hills of the magnificent Domaine des Courmettes, facing the Mediterranean Sea, 800 m above sea level in the back hills of Tourrettes sur Loup.

Your day

Visit the goats in their stable then try your hand at making some goat cheese in Bruno Gabelier’s award winning Fromagerie. As part of the workshop you will taste a wide variety of goat cheeses sold at the farm and in local shops and restaurants.

After the farm visit and lunch, we continue to Domaine Courmettes which features magnificent views over the whole Côte d’Azur. In really clear weather, we’ll even be able to spot Corsica.

After a short siesta for a coffee/tea, we start our sketching and watercolour session at 2pm with Art instructor Anne en plein air for the afternoon.

Finish at 4pm

Lunch: we share a plate of different goat cheese like fresh or aged cheese, with herbs, pepper, chives, pistou or olive paste amongst many others., French baguette, a glass of wine - Côte de Provence white, rose or red on the terrasse by the farm.
